On Tuesday 21st October 2025, CIGENE will host a joint seminar with Oxford Nanopore Technologies.
CIGENE hosts Nanopore’s most powerful instrument, the PromethION 24 (P24), and has pioneered agricultural genomic insights for years. Now, they are establishing the P24 as a core facility at NMBU, making this cutting-edge technology available to researchers and industry partners across the Nordics.
The seminar will give participants an introduction to the power and flexibility if Nanopore sequencing available at CIGENE, and an overview of the possibilities of sequencing with the Nanopore P24.
